Victorian Country Retreats
Lynden Farm – Murchison
4 Bedrooms | 2.5 Bathrooms
Rates from $650 per night
Owner and host Julie Johnson spotted a small ‘for sale’ sign whilst driving through Northern Victoria on her way to a horse competition. An avid horse rider and trainer, Julie saw the property and knew right away it was her dream home.
The home though was in a pretty old state but thankfully for interior designer and stylist Julie, it presented an exciting opportunity.
Restoring Lynden Farm to its former glory was a 12-month project and resulted in unearthing the home’s hidden treasures and beautiful bones.
The home is located on 28 hectares of countryside and farmland. The homestead comprises of 4 bedrooms, fully appointed country kitchen, fabulous dining room and a cosy lounge with open fireplace.
For those looking to escape the hustle and bustle it’s a wonderful opportunity to soak up the fresh country air and decompress in a tranquil space.
