Where to stay? Four lovely country getaways in Victoria

Yandoit, Victoria

3 BEDROOMS | 2 BATHROOMS

Rates from $420 (AUD) per night (based on a 2 night mid-week stay)

Yandoit Church is a wonderful example of beautiful and carefully considered restoration. The three bedroom Yandoit Church has been lovingly restored – retaining the character and impressive features of the church in an idyllic country setting.

“The Yandoit Church built in 1884 by Giacomo Satori served the local Swiss-Italian community until 1993. Beautifully refurbished in 2016 it is now an award-winning property that can be enjoyed by those looking for an exceptional country getaway, only 15 min from Daylesford and 20 min to Castlemaine.”

“Pops of colour and texture blend with oak floors, stone finishes and remnant paintworks in the nave. The property is a testament to style and grace. It is a fine example of sympathetic, yet modern, renovation of a building that has been rescued from ruin. The Yandoit Church can now be enjoyed by families, friends, or couples wishing to mark a special occasion or for those who want the idyllic getaway.” – Yandoit Church
